Axon Global a Cyber Strategy and Innovation company providing cyber counter-intelligence and enterprise risk management services, recognized by the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Secret Service Office of Strategic Intelligence, welcomes The Honorable and Esq. Rene Peña as a Full Partner and Chief General Counsel. Mr. Peña brings combined business and government experience, recently as a 12-year veteran criminal prosecutor for the state of Texas District Attorney’s office. He has served on several Texas Governor task forces and committees through 2016. Mr. Peña joins an experienced team at Axon including; the former chief general counsel for NSA, CEO of an NYSE traded company, the former CTO for Cisco, NACD Board Leadership Fellows and faculty, and a team of cybersecurity and counter intelligence experts supporting Global F500 and government clients in the U.S. as well as internationally. Over the next 12 months we will be expanding our services into Proactive Defense ® a phrase we “minted” and copyrighted at HMG Strategy in 2012. Over the next 18 months René will be going through Axon’s executive on-boarding process which includes Cyber Enterprise Risk Management certification, supporting national security initiatives with the leadership team and meeting partners and clients throughout the U.S. and internationally.
