Israel Martinez, CEO and Hannah Norris, Chief Success Officer, both Axon Global executives, receive certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Financial Technology Innovation (FINTECH) program in blockchain technology. MIT FINTECH is part of MIT’s Media Lab which has embraced the ideals of anti-disciplinary work, that is “working in spaces that simply do not fit into any existing academic discipline—a specific field of study with its own particular words, frameworks, and methods.” Blockchain technology is said to be the new technology infrastructure that will dominate financial services and other industries within the next ten years.
