he Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) in partnership with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) launches a new training program for Corporate Counsels taught by NACD Faculty including Axon CEO, Israel Martinez as the Cyber Enterprise Risk Management expert for boards. The program focuses on the complex oversight challenges that boards face, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, financial competency, executive compensation, communication strategies and the demand for greater transparency. Regarding the training, “…His knowledge on Cyber Security is phenomenal,” stated Cynthia Mares (LION), HNBA National President, also former Asst. Regulation Counsel for the Colorado Supreme Court and Deputy State Public Defender for the State of Colorado. The program was sponsored by the law firm, Jones Day and attended by General Counsels from; F500, private equity, non-profits, critical infrastructure, financial services, independents as well as trial attorneys.
